Al Shifa College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2002 with B.Pharm course. It has grown into one of the top institutions in Kerala runs D.Pharm., Pharm.D., Pharm.D (Post Baccaulaureate) and M.Pharm courses, aiming to reach to more heights. With this in mind we have started Shifa Consultancy Center inaugurated by Mr. P. Unneen, Managing Trustee, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy on 31.01.2015.

Shifa Consultancy Center offers an array of research and analytics solutions that spans functions such as Research & Development and serves as a Knowledge Centre for Professional Services. The services from our consultancy help stakeholders take informed, analytics-driven decisions on Research areas. Shifa consultancy center provide our clients to pilot small projects, evaluating the results, before moving on to larger projects with confidence.

Our teams are well experienced, competent, dedicated and many of them hold specialized pharmaceutical and research degrees (PGDRA, PGDL, PhD, M.Pharm, B.Pharm & MBA.). The team is supported by efficient, advanced instrumentations and technology platforms. We expertise across all functional areas of the pharmaceutical lifecycle – Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacognosy. We provide some of the most advanced analytical technologies including HPLC, FTIR, Fluorimetry etc. 

Shifa Consultancy Centre is a part of an ISO 9001 Certified Institution, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy. Al Shifa College of Pharmacy is one of a leading Pharma institution run by SIMS. The predominant aim of Al Shifa College of Pharmacy is to promote research and add something substantial to the existing quantum of knowledge. In keeping with this tradition, our college promotes research and consultancy apart from the conduct of classes, laboratory experiments and hands-on training in various disciplines

Establishment of Shifa Consultancy Centre was done with the prime motive to promote research activities. It also undertakes consultancy project works for post graduate students of other colleges and formulation development projects of some pharmaceutical industries. The laboratories are well equipped with sophisticated equipment and other required infrastructure. All facilities are provided to prepare and submit major projects for funding agencies.

DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS

  • Method development for validated analytical procedure for detection of pure drug as well as formulations, using HPLC and UV Visible spectrometer.
  • Infra red spectrum for synthesized chemical products, using FTIR.
  • Drug and excipient studies, using FTIR including spectrum and interaction.
