On 25th June 2025, the Alumni Association of Al Shifa College of Pharmacy extended a generous contribution of ₹20,000 to the Institution Innovation Council, fostering a spirit of innovation and creativity among students.
The 2nd Year Pharm D students of Al Shifa College of Pharmacy attended the Two Days International Pharmacy Practice Conclave – BCP PPCON 2K25, held on June 27-28, 2025, at Bharathi College of Pharmacy in Mandya, Karnataka. The conclave's theme, "Rapid Response: Code Blue to Green – Pharmacy in Emergency Care," highlighted the crucial role pharmacists play in emergency and acute care situations. Eminent speakers from various medical fields, including emergency medicine and endocrinology, led insightful sessions on critical topics such as diabetic ketoacidosis, providing valuable perspectives on pharmacists' roles in rapid response teams. Through workshops, poster presentations, and discussions, students significantly enhanced their knowledge of emergency care. Faculty members Mrs. Afnan K. V. and Dr. Pallavi P. accompanied the 25 participating students. The conclave provided a highly enriching experience for all participants, broadening their understanding of pharmacy practice in emergency care. The event underscored the importance of pharmacists in managing emergencies and acute care situations.
